For smaller rooms up to 200 square feet in your office or home, the Haier Portable Air Conditioner is a compact cooling unit that delivers 8000 BTUs of cooling power. Like all air conditioners and dehumidifiers, this single-hose 3-speed portable air conditioner extracts water as it cools, and uses auto-evaporation to eject most of the extracted water out the exhaust hose. 3 separate modes allow you to use this model as a cooling unit, dehumidifier, or a fan to circulate air. It’s also eco-friendly, using R-410A refrigerant that won’t impact the ozone layer, and RoHS-compliant, which means the unit is free of lead, mercury, and other hazardous substances. The compact unit rides on casters that let you move it freely from room to room. It also fits double-hung, sliding, and casement windows; an installation kit with hose, hose adapters, window panel kit, and window panel adapter is included. The easy-to-use remote and 24-hour timer let you customize operation to fit your schedule. 900 watts and 115 volts. 24.4 x 17.9 x 13.1 inches. 56.1 pounds.
Great Little A / C! I have two LG 9000 is for larger rooms that I love, but a slightly smaller babies needed to my room (central AC is terrible for cooling on top!), So got this one the other day and it's perfect . You do not have to leak so I do not know what the previous review was talking about. It is self - evaporation and uses its own water cond. to refresh. The window to drive it much better than my LG also. It is very elegant and a little box that AC works great and makes me less stressed at night worrying about the comfort of my 18 months old during the night. I have a reading of the thermostat in my room that tells me the temperature in your room and keep that AC exactly what I wanted it. Keep it so far and definitely recommend it! Good portable air conditioner I was looking for a good device, small, portable and inexpensive to install in my neighbor upstairs game room, do not allow HOA windows. This unit preforms fairly well for his size. You do not have a bucket of water through the harvest is necessary to discharge through a hose, but I have a central unit that has a lot of moisture Installation was fairly easy except for some minor issues, comes with four small screws supposed to connect the hose the tab of the window, but when not enough, I had to use four small screws and washers in place. When you install it remember to keep the exhaust pipe as a straight curves reduce efficiency. I also bought some plastic insulation Home Depot and covered the exhaust pipe. I used a temperature gun and saw that the exhaust hose had temporary character of 95-110 degrees. The insertion of the window they give you a joke, you should also install some insulation around as well. more trouble than it's worth I was in the market for a new air conditioner for my 12x15 room and see the reviews of other customers to make sure the size of the exhaust, and the price would be the 8000 Haier CPRB08XCJ one for my needs. During the installation, and I started using the product I came across many questions the first is that the configuration and installation instructions are not clear, even for a seemingly simple process. Second, while the unit is said to cool a room up to 250-300 square feet, it was difficult to cover my 180. And even if they do not seem to do a better job of dehumidifying cooling, the amount of drainage water collected is unmanageable. The product has been said that most self-evaporation with a tank that will hold the excess. I knew that the unit may need to occasional drainage. But I'm not running for more than 3-4 hours before the tank is full and close completely. Since I am using in my room, there is no practical way to empty the tank is completely without detaching from his window coverings and roll in my bathroom, or its flow in the pots and pans and bring them to the kitchen sink. The other night while I slept, I was just trying to drain away as it is cooled to a vacant aluminum frying pan, but the water was so high that half of the night had begun overflowing I will try a rubber snake found in sewer system to adapt to the spout to put out my window, but without raising the device incredibly heavy I can not see how it ever really comes to effective disposal. I could forgive these additional problems when the device is cool my small room, but it's all boring. Thirdly, I call this portable air conditioner is a bit misleading. In order for me to set to move to another room, I pull the power plug, disconnect the hose, turn the window mount to the size and the removal of my frames, as the device to the other chamber and the exhaust hose replacement and window hardware. It seems not too much, but the whole process takes about 15-20 minutes, I suppose, through the purchase of some of the panels that go on.
