With a cooling capacity of 7,000 BTU's per hour, this portable air conditioner quickly and efficiently cools rooms up to 160 square feet. The unit features user-friendly electronic controls and a full-function remote control, which makes it easy to adjust the settings from across the room. Choose from three cool settings and three fan settings. The unit can also be used to dehumidify the air, and its self-evaporating system allows for continuous use. Good unit, lousy support from Wayne Paterson As another reviewer mentioned, Amana does not recognize the existence of these units rebadged Haier on its website. Haier has unfortunately not seem to recognize, support by practically impossible. The a / c unit requires a small window (or a large heavily blocked), which can take a lot of work if your windows are not the right size, but it is true of such a unit. It is a very practical device, without empty bucket. It is also quite loud, with strange controls that require the remote control. It was great the first year we had, the less the second, despite careful storage. They would probably be better with a domestic production (or European or Japanese) unit, if you find one. 5 of 6 people found this review helpful. By Kevin Johnston large unit its great. To empty a bucket of water every day and worth every penny. I use it for a spare room that is usually very warm cool, and the room is cool enough to comfortably sleep It makes opening a window, but easy to move in the closet for the colder months, or as a backup up of a / c, when the whole house air failed. It will only cool a room, but in this price range, are well worth a ([...]) below. AC unit ideal for AC Man This product works very well. It's really powerful and very quiet. It is on wheels so it's easy to move. Keeps our large rooms cool in the summer right.
