Lovely room / small air conditioner for the home of T. ice Hour ------ August update of this product: EER rating of 9.8 underestimate this product efficiency. I live in NC and it was hot in June, with no signs of slowing down. Today 08/11/11 was the first in more than sixty days, the high temperature was below 90th It 'been 87th (Cloudy and rainy);) For the most part was above the middle-90. June. But when I got my electric bill in July to June was only $ 54 I was like ok, it will take a month for energy consumption to show. I've just recievied my account in August for the month of July and was only $ 57th Honestly !!!!!!!!!! And let me tell you, this device produced by my mind .. ;) I used not to give a series of EER another look, but now it is everything you want, when you buy something electrical. Even at 110 volts, putting it out as much air as cool as my old 220-unit outside. If I am still using (0utside drive) my electricity bill would be well over $ 120 ------ After reading some of the reviews for this product, I was a bit skeptical. Not so much for the product, but how it was delivered. Some shippers reported injuries. Mine arrived intact and in very good condition. Setup was a breeze, thanks to its light weight, there was only one person job. Lasted only 30 minutes, and I actually read the instructions. :) Could easily be a 15 minutes work when I'm in a hurry. Works like a charm and does everything I expected / wanted. (To knock down the high heat of summer and money is not my central air unit is expensive to store) Some may ask how can a 110-unit to store a 220, but believe me, it does / will. My central air likes almost all the time in the summer, no matter what temperature I set it on, and this pushes electricity bills drastically. Now I have the windows open at night and use the window unit to repel the heat during the day. Does not run that much, and cools very quickly, I'm saving electricity and get fresh air at night. Package sketch came early and in perfect condition via UPS, simply slipped, pulled to the right and cooled right down. From Shannon Sanmartin I had 2 of these from Amazon. Set up was easy enough. It cools my room at about 3 minutes. Keep the temperature of 71 or I freeze. My only complaint is the fan speed down seems to be too powerful. And I tried to sleep with the ability to save, but every time the system has started once again woke me up.
